But there’s nothing to help the new players. It is, after all, the first time this franchise was released for the PS4. I am new to the series, and the austere presentation was dazzling to me. It is not easy to understand, and the game doesn’t try to make it easier for newbies. The second thing you see is the menu, very ascetic in its nature. Tons of white, curious fonts and other little details make it look both old-fashioned and futuristic at the same time. Like it or not, but one’s certain – no other game looks like that. As I said previously, it is very minimalistic.

I had the same thoughts: at one point I really wanted to buy Wipeout 2048, but something stopped me. There’s also no story, which may prompt a lot of people to see the game as being barebones. Known for great design, electronic music, top notch graphics and mind-blowing speeds, it is very important to PlayStation.
Wipeout has always been and still is one the best franchises of futuristic racing.
